This Tuesday we had another excursion day. We started the day off with a hike to the refuge in the mountains near camp. It was a beautiful day and the birds were singing as we started our ascent up the mountain. It was warm in the morning but not too hot for the hike. We had to go rather slow as many of the children are quite young, but we were able to make good time and arrive to the top just after noon. We took the kids to a viewpoint to experience the beautiful scenery of the mountains and surrounding villages. It was breathtaking! We spent some time at the top before heading back down the mountain and back to camp before lunch. Then we had lunch and some free time and the kids had candy shop. In the afternoon we walked to rancho Canada so the kids could go horse back riding! It was great I think all the children enjoyed it a lot. They all got a turn riding the horses and they had time to play games and buy candy as well. When we finished we came back to camp for dinner. It was another great day!
