Today we spent the whole day preparing for the new kids to arrive. We set up the English Level test section, planned games to play, got the registration area set up and much more.
When everyone arrived I was lucky enough to meet everyone and their parents and direct the parents to the registration and the kids to the English Level Test area. 150 kids is a lot but everything went so smooth. All the parents were lovely and I'm excited to meet all the kids. After the parents left we all played a huge game of "Bomb" and I sprayed everyone with water from my water gun, very fun!!
Then we chose our cabins, moved in to the cabins and went back out to the grass to discuss the rules of the camp. Then we had dinner and they are now about to play night games!
Big day today but an even bigger day tomorrow.
