Day two started off well with a dual game between two teams, my class won the game - yay!!
For the morning English Class we pre-taught the students some nature vocabulary (leaf, moss, bark etc) then went on a nature walk and scavenger hunt. Campers had to find various items on the worksheet, some bark, a flower, sand, a stick and some moss for example. It was great to get the kids out into the countryside to energise an English Class. Once back in the class we went over what we had seen and stuck our leaves and flowers into the workbooks.
After snack time we taught the kids some traditional Scottish Ceilidh Dancing (I'm from Scotland)!! The campers really enjoyed learning the dance and the music, it's great to have such a varied range of teachers from different countries. We have Canadian, American, Scottish, English and Australian teachers!!!!
In the afternoon we all went up to swim and play football. Relaxing by the pool was well deserved by our campers as they had been so busy exploring and dancing all morning!!
See you all again tomorrow!
Morag :-D
