Today my class went on a scavenger hunt! It was a great way to learn some new vocabulary and immediately put it into practical use. We learned some new words like pinecone, berries, sand, bark, moss and many more. Once we had the words down pat, the hard part began: actually finding the things!
We are so lucky that right by our campsite there are some really beautiful trails. My entire class set off on an uphill hike to try to find as many items as we could. Although we weren’t able to find every single item on the list (not to many berries on the trail!) we still enjoyed being out in nature. Also, once we got to the top off the hill we really liked the pretty view of the valley. It was definitely a great morning full of nature, fun and learning!
