Yesterday was our first full day of camp. The children were all excited and anxious to see what the say had in store for them. After breakfast, the students were divided into their classes. I really enjoyed the first class with my group. We did an activity where the students interviewed a partner and then had to present them to the class. It was a great way for them to get to know eachother a little better. They are definetly not shy students and that's important to have in class. After class, we took the kids up to the field and played a lot of fun games such as sharks and minnows and ships and sailors. By the time the games were over the children were ready for lunch. The children ate and rested for a little and then it was time for English class again. This time, we planned what we are going to do for the big carnival on Saturday.
Once class was over it was pool time, the moment all of the kids were waiting for. Some swam and others stayed in the shade to watch the Copa Europa football match.
At the velada, we took the kids back up to the field to play capture the flag in the dark. The kids had a lot of fun!
