Sunday we had the olympics! In the morning the kids played capture the flag and did relay races. It was a great day to be outside as the weather was perfect. When we finished we gave the kids snack and did trivia. The kids seemed to really enjoy it but they didn't know the capital of Canada! Then they had lunch and did basketball. Saturday was one of my Favourite days so far. We took the kids in a hike from camp to the refuge in the mountains. The scenery was spectacular and the weather was perfect! We left around 10:30 in the morning and started leading  the campers up to the first rest area. You could see the mountains and cities all around and it was truly incredible. Tuesday we started the day off with a dual of the day! We played t-Rex ball. It was the yellow team vs the orange team. Unfortunately the orange team lost but it was lots of fun. Este sábado dijimos adiós a la tercera quincena de campamento de verano en GMR summercamps. Ha sido estupendo poder conocer a unos chicos y chicas con tantas ganas de divertirse y aprender inglés.  Monitores y profesores os echarán de menos. Desde GMR summer camps, damos la enhorabuena al riosellano y pontevedrés Walter Bouzán y Álvaro Fernández Fiuza ganadores de la 80º edición del descenso del río Sella celebrada el pasado 6 de agosto. Sunday was the first day of camp with the new kids. They arrived in the afternoon and we gave all of them level tests. They are great kids! After the level tests the kids all made name tags and moved into their cabins. Then we played introductory games in the games room.
